Nebraska lands 4-star wide receiver Nyziah Hunter in transfer portal

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Matt Rhule and the Nebraska football team added some top-tier talent to the wide receiver room Thursday.
The Huskers landed a commitment from 4-star California wide receiver Nyziah Hunter in the transfer portal.

Hunter spent the last two seasons with the Golden Bears, catching 40 passes for 578 yards and a team-best five touchdowns in 2024.
This is the first splash portal commitment for new wide receivers coach Daikiel Shorts Jr., who was hired last month by Dana Holgorsen to replace Garrett McGuire.
Nebraska is set to return seven wide receivers in 2025, highlighted by Jacory Barney Jr., Jaylen Lloyd and Quinn Clark.
Four-star recruits Cortez Mills and Isaiah Mozee will also join the team in 2025.
