Pinnacle Bank Arena to host 2025 AVCA First Serve Showcase

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced Friday that the second annual AVCA First Serve Showcase will be hosted at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Eight of the nation’s top volleyball teams will go head-to-head in Lincoln from Aug. 22 to Aug. 24 to kick off the 2025 season.

The 2024 AVCA First Serve event took place in Louisville and featured Kentucky, Nebraska, Louisville and Wisconsin.
“Pinnacle Bank Arena, along with the entire city of Lincoln, couldn’t be more excited to play host to this truly special occasion,” PBA general manager Tim Savona said. “Our team has been seeking an opportunity to host NCAA volleyball for the first time, and we are grateful to partner with our friends at Visit Lincoln and the AVCA to make this one-of-a-kind event a reality.”
Teams invited to the AVCA First Serve event are yet to be determined.
