Broken Bow man charged with two counts of attempted murder

Authorities said a 30-year-old Broken Bow man shot by police during a New Year’s Eve shootout, now faces two attempted murder charges.

Court documents indicate, Luke Lefever shot at Howard County Deputies during a traffic stop.

Authorities said, he’s a habitual criminal.

Lefever was also shot, he’s still in the hospital.

His bond is set at $1 million.
