Housing value nationwide at highest ever, in Lincoln up $1.3 billion

According to a new report by Zillow, the combined value of all homes in United States is $33.3 billion, that’s the highest ever.

That’s an increase of $1.9 trillion from last year.

Here in Lincoln, the housing market gained $1.3 billion in value in 2018.

It’s lowest point was in 2012, during the housing bubble crisis, when it dropped to $5.8 in value.

It’s now 39.2% more valuable than it was in 2012, according to the new report.

Lincoln’s total value is $19.7 billion.
