Omaha teacher running for legislature

An Omaha is running for Nebraska Legislature in 2020.

Tim Royers, a social studies teacher at Millard West, is putting his name in the hat for District 31.

Royers has also served as the high school’s debate coach.

The current representative of District 31 is Rick Kolowski, he is bound by term limits and unable to rerun in 2020.
