Flames burn back of east Lincoln house

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A fire burned the outside of a house in east Lincoln on Wednesday afternoon.

The fire sparked about 2:30 p.m. near 84th and Holdrege streets, according to Lincoln Fire & Rescue.

The flames were contained to the outside of the back of the house, LFR said, but some smoke made it inside.

A Channel 8 reporter saw charred siding.

No one was injured, and authorities said the cause is under investigation.
