Gov. Ricketts appoints Dist. 1 Legislature

Gov. Pete Ricketts has appointed his campaign press secretary to fill a seat in the legislature.

Julie Slama, of Auburn, will be replacing Dan Watermeir in District One–representing Syracuse and surrounding communities.

Watermeir was elected to serve the Public Service Commission.

That change will happen on Jan. 9th.
