State fuel tax going up Jan. 1st
Nebraska’s motor fuel tax is slated to rise 1.6 cents at the start of 2019.
The state dept. announced the increase last week, it’s set to take affect Jan. 1st.
The rate is part of a law passed in 2015 that increase the gas tax rate.
The extra money will go towards fixing state roads and bridges.
