Salmonella linked to tainted turkey causes one death
The Center For Disease Control and Prevention confirmed one person has died and 52 more have been sickened from a salmonella outbreak linked to raw turkey.
The outbreak has forced company Jennie-O to recall more than 164,000 lbs of ground turkey products.
The outbreak first reported in July–is responsible for 216 cases across 38 states–including Nebraska.
