University Of Nebraska launching Teachers Scholars Academy

The University of Nebraska has started a Teachers Scholars Academy to recruit, retain and develop highly qualified and more diverse teachers in the state.

The program was made possible by a grant from the William and Ruth Scott Family Foundation.

It will provide full tuition for four-year scholarships, plus $8,000 annually for other costs to 104 students.
