Chilly sunshine first, then chance for light snow showers Thursday

Morning temperatures today are expected to bottom out near zero for one of our coldest mornings of the season.

Wind Chill

Wind chills will run about 5 to almost 15 degrees below zero early on for us in southeast Nebraska. Then we’ll make a move toward chilly sunshine for the day.

Wswatch

Back home, some light snow will be possible especially the second part of the day on Thursday. That chance will be riding along front to bring us some gusty northwest winds on the order of about 30-35 mph. Afternoon temperatures will also be making a run for the upper 30s.

A broken band of light snow showers will move in as soon as Thursday afternoon, continuing on and off into Thursday night across southeast Nebraska. Snow will end from the northwest to the southeast, those closer to Pawnee and Richardson counties expected to see the flurries and light snow end last.

We really aren’t talking about much snow with this. Most will see up to a dusting. Those that saw a little more snow over the past weekend, it would be easier for them to maybe pick up a couple tenths of an inch from this.
