Bank in Nebraska village robbed of undisclosed amount
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two people held up a rural bank in eastern Nebraska on Tuesday, authorities say.
About 9:45 a.m., a robbery was reported at Community State Bank in Cedar Bluffs, according to the Saunders County Sheriff’s Office.
Cedar Bluffs is a village of about 600 people 7 miles southwest of Fremont.
The sheriff’s office said two men entered the bank and brandished guns to force employees to the vault.
The pair made off with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the sheriff’s office.
They were driving an early 2000s silver Pontiac Grand Am.
