Police seek man who assaulted employee during robbery at north Lincoln farm store
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a man who injured an employee during a robbery at a north Lincoln farm store last week.
On Jan. 9, a man and woman arrived at Bomgaars near 56th Street and Cornhusker Highway in a red Chevy Impala.
They both went into the store, but the woman left to get the car ready as the man tried to run out with merchandise, police said.
When the employees tried to stop him, the man knocked one of them over, according to police. The employee hit her head on the concrete and was taken to a hospital.
Police have since identified the woman involved in the robbery.
Investigators also need help in the search for a woman who stole someone’s identity last November.
On Nov. 30, a man was notified of a package being delivered to his home near 27th Street and Pine Lake Road.
But he wasn’t expecting any packages, police said.
Before he returned home, a woman arrived in a light-colored Hyundai Veloster and grabbed the package from his porch.
Shortly after, the man was alerted that an unauthorized AT&T account was opened using his name and address, according to police.
The victim didn’t lose any money but his identity was stolen, police said.
Anyone with information on either case is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
