LFR responds to fire at northeast Lincoln apartment complex
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Crews put out an apartment fire in northeast Lincoln on Tuesday night.
The blaze was reported just before 6 p.m. at The Villa Apartments near 70th and Adams streets.
A Lincoln Fire & Rescue official told a Channel 8 reporter that the building was evacuated.
Firefighters found a fire in the wall of one of the apartments and extinguished it, LFR said.
That residents of that unit have been displaced, authorities said.
But once the smoke was cleared out, everyone else in the building was allowed to go back in.
LFR said no one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
