Victim identified in Lexington homicide

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The man killed in a Lexington shooting Tuesday night has been identified.

Maykel Farinas Carballo, 40, was shot and killed in his car in the front yard of a home.

Lexington Police said they initially responded to a fight, but when they arrived, they found Carballo dead.

The investigation of this shooting remains ongoing. An autopsy is scheduled for later this week.
