Calling all wine lovers: The 2025 Nebraska Wine Passport is here

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska’s wine scene is getting an upgrade in 2025 with a new Nebraska Wine Passport.

The Nebraska Winery and Grape Growers Association announced the passport in a press release Thursday.

It allows wine lovers to explore more than 30 wineries across the state.

The passport is fully digital and can be downloaded through the association’s website.

The program kicks off Saturday.

No purchase is required to collect “stamps” for the passport, and the digital pass offers exclusive discounts and special deals from participating wineries and tasting rooms.

There is also a points-based rewards system where you can redeem points to win prizes.

Passport prize breakdown:

  • 500 points = $10 Wine Bucks (while supplies last)
  • 1,000 points = Passport T-shirt (1 shirt per pass, while supplies last)
  • 1,000 points = $20 Wine Bucks (while supplies last)
  • 1,500 points = Drawing entry No. 1: Drawing for a set of 2 wine corks and $100.00 in Wine Bucks (3 winners)
  • 3,000 points = Drawing entry No. 2: Drawing for Wine Basket, including a wine tumbler, $100 in Nebraska Wine Bucks, and two two-day tickets to TOAST Nebraska Wine Festival for 2026 (3 winners)

Passport guidelines include:

  • Each participant is allowed one digital account.
  • Each participant must present their own passport at the participating location to collect points.
  • Points from participating locations are available through Dec. 22.
  • Prizes can be redeemed until Dec. 31.
  • Wine Bucks expire on Dec. 31.
