Vehicle crashes into side of Heartland Event Center in Grand Island
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are investigating after a vehicle crashed into an event center in Grand Island.
In a press release, the city said a vehicle hit the south side of the Heartland Event Center early Thursday morning.
The city also showed a few photos of the damage near the entrance of the Bosselman Conference Center.
“Through initial damage assessment, we are not expecting future events to be impacted by this incident,” said Kyler Tarwater, the event center’s executive director, in a statement.
Officials thanked the public for their support and understanding as crews start working on repairing the damage.
