Warming up your car could pose risk, according to authorities

Law enforcement says warming up your car during cooler months puts you at risk for car theft.

Although it hasn’t been that cold yet, it will be.

Lincoln Police said last year, a few people who left their car running ended up getting them stolen or had items stolen out of their car.

Their advice, keep your car locked with a spare key if you choose to warm it up.
