The drought is over in Nebraska

That’s according to the National Drought Mitigation Center.

Since June of 2017, parts of the state have been in a drought. 

Because of more timely rains, that drought is now over, for now.

One farmer said, the more timely rain this year, made it a blessing on their fields and that they saved a lot of money on irrigating.

He says the pastures look better, as well.
