Younkers closes Friday
Younkers is closing its doors this Friday, it’s been a part of the Lincoln shopping scene for more than 31 years.
Younkers at Gateway Mall is one of 250 Bon Ton stores that will close.
The company’s bankruptcy was approved months ago.
It’s current location has been there since 1987, but they say with online competition and a change in retail, they could no longer compete.
No word on what will replace the store.
