Missing Fremont man’s body found

A sad end to the search for a 90-year-old man missing out of Fremont

Charles Folsom’s body was found Friday evening in the Elkhorn River.

Authorities believe Folsom drove to the area and went into the river, sometime after he went missing Tuesday.

Investigators say Folsom used his belt to try to get out.

Family members believe he was trying to find a safe spot further down the river to get out.
