More melting this Monday amid a very warm week
Snow is quickly disappearing with the warmer weather around here lately. So count on some more mud this Monday as we continue to melt.
Officially, there’s 1″ of snow depth according to the Lincoln airport left to melt away. We’ll have no problem doing just that this week.
Temperatures in the morning will be quite comfortable compared to morning lows around -5° to -15° last week.
In fact, temperatures close to 40° already are more typical of a mid- to late-April morning!
And with some overnight cloud cover clearing, we’ll be mostly sunny this Monday. Temperatures will warm to the lower 60s!
Those temperatures are about 20 degrees above average for everyone across southeast Nebraska. Not a bad way to start the final week of February.
This week features temperatures in the 60s just about every day.
The exception will be a windy day Wednesday following a front and a late chance for a little rain Tuesday night.
