Lincoln North Star navigates its way to the state tournament
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln North Star boys basketball team punched its ticket to the state tournament Monday night, knocking off Kearney 68-47 in the A-4 District Championship.
The Navigators used a strong second half to put the Bearcats to bed, marking their second state tournament berth in three years.

J’Shawn Afuh led the Gators with 17 points, while senior Sam Schafer tallied 14 points.
The Gators head to Pinnacle Bank Arena with a 20-5 record and will wait to hear who their opponent is in the first round.
