‘Frozen,’ ‘A Christmas Story’ headline Broadway series at Lied Center

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lied Center for Performing Arts on Monday night announced the 2025-26 Glenn Korff Broadway Series.

“Disney’s Frozen,” “The Music Man,” “A Christmas Story” and “Tina: The Tina Turner Musical” will make up the series.

Five-show Broadway packages start at $220, and Broadway subscribers also get first access to Tony Award-winning “Hadestown.”

“We’re proud to bring another season of blockbuster Broadway to Lincoln!” Bill Stephan, executive director of the Lied Center, said in a press release. “From the beloved Disney hit Frozen to the nostalgic favorite The Music Man, the Nebraska premiere of the groundbreaking Suffs to family holiday classic A Christmas Story, the unforgettable true story and iconic music of Tina: The Tina Turner Story to direct-from-Broadway smash hit Hadestown, there’s something for everyone. I invite everyone to come experience the best of Broadway this season at the Lied!”

“Frozen” will have 13 performances running from Aug. 15 through 24.

“Tina: The Tina Turner Musical” will have five performances starting on Oct. 8.

“A Christmas Story” will kick off the holiday season with eight performances, starting on Dec. 16.

“The Music Man” will be here for five performances starting on March 5, 2026, while “Suffs” will kick off seven performances on May 5, 2026.

“Hadestown” will have four performances starting on Jan. 16.
