I-80 in Nebraska reopens after blizzard

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Interstate 80 in Nebraska was reopened early Wednesday morning after being shut down for hours amid blizzard conditions.
At one point, I-80 was closed between Lexington and Lincoln due to “deteriorating conditions,” according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
The Nebraska State Patrol reported that blizzard conditions caused “near zero visibility” for travelers.

At around 2:30 a.m., the transportation department announced I-80 was reopened in both directions.
