Power outages reported across Nebraska amid blizzard conditions
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Power outages were reported across Nebraska on Wednesday as a blizzard swept across the state.
At 4 p.m., more than 16,000 Norris Public Power District customers were without power.
As of 3 a.m. Thursday, that number was about 11,700, according to the agency’s outage map.

In the Lincoln Electric System, outages topped 10,000 at one point in the afternoon.
By 3 a.m. Thursday, that number had fallen to about 2,100.
LES crews are working across the city to assess the damage and restore power to customers, officials said in a statement.
The Adams County Emergency Management Agency reported around 6:30 a.m. that most of the county, including Hastings, was without power.
Most of Adams County is without power, this includes Hastings. Whiteout conditions. Do not travel at this time.
