LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A janitor sexually assaulted a patient Saturday at a south Lincoln nursing home, police say.

Around 12:30 p.m., officers were sent to the Emerald Nursing Home near 10th and South streets on a report of an assault.

An employee discovered the janitor, 63-year-old Derald Wiltshire, in the room of a 78-year-old dementia patient, according to LPD.

Police said Wiltshire was found partially undressed and grabbing the victim’s breast.

Wiltshire was arrested on suspicion of abuse of a vulnerable adult and third-degree sexual assault.
