Lincoln Stars take commanding 2-0 series lead vs. Sioux City

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Stars secured another come from behind win Saturday night at the Ice Box Arena, defeating Sioux City 6-3 in game two.
For the second night in a row Bruno Idzan started the scoring for Lincoln in the first period. The Stars eventually opened up to a 2-0 lead in the second.
But, the Musketeers strung together three unanswered goals in less than five minutes to stun the Ice Box Arena and led 3-2 late in the second period.
With 3:51 left in the second, Hunter Anderson tied the game up. The game was knotted at 3 heading into the final period, where the Stars scored three goals in the final stretch en route to a 6-3 victory.
Lincoln will head to the Tyson Events Center Monday night for a chance to clinch the series, and advance to the Western Conference Finals.
Puck drops at 7:05 p.m. Monday.
