LFR responds after boiler overheats at Lincoln hospital

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews responded to Bryan East Medical Center on Wednesday night.
It happened about 7 p.m.
A Channel 8 reporter saw multiple LFR vehicles outside of the surgery center near 52nd and A streets.
Firefighters were using a ladder truck to get on the roof.
Battalion Chief Aaron Pospisil said a boiler overheated and set off some sprinklers.
There was some light haze but no fire, he said.
LFR said Bryan will have water damage and a maintenance problem to address.
