Husker Jordyn Bahl tabbed as Big Ten Player of the Week for fifth time this season

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska softball star Jordyn Bahl picked up her fifth Big Ten Player of the Week selection Monday.

Bahl has also been selected as Big Ten Pitcher of the Week four times this season.

She had a team-high .625 batting average across the Huskers’ three games against Washington last weekend. She reached base in seven of her eight trips to the plate, going for five hits and two walks.

With her two home runs on Sunday, Bahl now has 34 extra-base hits on the season, which is one shy of tying the school record.

It was Bahl’s second multi-homer game of her career.

Nebraska will suit up this weekend to face Maryland in its final series of the regular season.
