Nebraska baseball: Riley Silva enters transfer portal, Brumbaugh commits to Oklahoma
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska baseball outfielder Riley Silva has put his name in the transfer portal.
The speedy centerfielder said on X on Friday afternoon that he will use his final year of eligibility elsewhere.

This past season, Silva started 39 games for the Huskers, hitting .284 with 38 hits and four doubles.
Silva posted 16 RBIs and led the team with a .419 on-base percentage.
He joins outfielder Cael Frost and Robby Bolin in the transfer portal, while utility player Cayden Brumbaugh committed to Oklahoma on Friday.

Five other NU players have entered the transfer portal as well: outfielder Hayden Lewis, catchers Colin Cumbalista and Kanon Sundgren, and pitchers Aiden Lieser and J’Shawn Unger.
The Huskers have yet to add anyone to their roster from the transfer portal.
