Rain chances linger as temperatures warm back up

Tonight, isolated shower and thunderstorm activity will continue in parts of SE Nebraska. The severe threat will be over by late this evening. There will be areas of localized flooding in SE Nebraska through tonight as well. Turn around and don’t drown! Tuesday will be a warm day again with temperatures in the 80s and chances for isolated showers and storms by the evening time. Temperatures will look to rebound back into the 90s by Wednesday.

Through tonight, thunderstorm and rain chances continue to be isolated until the early morning hours Tuesday.

Through tonight, rain totals will range from 0.10″ – 0.50″+. The most rain will fall in parts of far SE Nebraska overnight.

Tonight, temperatures staying relatively warm in the upper 60s. A light northeast breeze will try and cool us off.

Tuesday, high temperatures staying warm in the mid to upper 80s, with isolated rain and storm chances in the evening.

Tuesday evening, storms form out west and southwest. These storms will look to have large hail and damaging winds as they move east and then northeast through Tuesday night.

Tuesday evening, a few scattered and isolated thunderstorms could become severe across the state. Main concern being 60 mph winds and hail up to ping pong balls, especially out west. The SLIGHT risk could get shifted east by the next update due to storms in SW Nebraska, which could have some pretty big hail.

Tonight, strong storms will look to stay in parts of far SE Nebraska and into Iowa. The main concerns will be 60 mph winds and lightning. A few scattered showers and thunderstorms will try and linger across eastern Nebraska through the overnight. Scattered rain and storm chances will continue through the week, with some severe potential possible Thursday. Temperatures will stay hot in the upper 80s and lower 90s. A lot better than triple digits no doubt!
