LPD: Lightbulb sculpture outside south Lincoln school is vandalized
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A lightbulb sculpture outside of a south Lincoln school was damaged overnight earlier this month, police say.
The lightbulb, a part of the Illuminating Lincoln project, is located at Humann Elementary School near 40th Street and Pine Lake Road.
The sculptures were created by local artists and placed around Lincoln to celebrate the anniversary of The Lighthouse, a community program helping kids.
Police shared photos of the sculpture, which was damaged overnight on June 6. Investigators searched the area for video but couldn’t find any, according to police.
