Three Lincoln trails undergoing repairs in next two weeks

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The city announced Tuesday that it will repair multiple trails over the next two weeks.
The projects will begin Thursday and are expected to be done by July 18.
But the Parks and Recreation Department said no work will be done Friday, which is the Fourth of July.
The affected sections of trail are:
- Old Cheney Trail between 16th and 27th streets
- Billy Wolff Trail between Rickman’s Dog Run and Old Cheney Road
- MoPac Trail between 70th and 84th streets
The projects aim to smooth the trail surface, according to the city.
Crews will work on one side of a trail at a time, and the trails will stay open.
