Carriker brought in a host of former Huskers to help coach the Carriker Chronicles Football Camp, including former Heisman winner Eric Crouch, two-time national champion Ahman Green, Outland Trophy winner Zach Wiegert and First Team All-Conference selection Kenny Wilhite.
“I see sports as a way to bring people together,” Carriker said.
He said wants to give kids “the opportunity to be around some cool coaches, to do some football and hopefully make some memories that will last with them for quite a while.”
The camp featured a ton of drills, activities and an opportunity to get signatures from former Husker greats.
Green came all the way from Texas to be a part of the camp.
“It is always a great feeling to come back on any level,” he said.
