LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A one-of-a-kind exhibition on wheels made a stop in Lincoln this weekend.

The Mobile Bible Truck offers an immersive, educational experience by presenting a wide array of historical exhibits.

The semitrailer is parked at the First Slavic Baptist Church near 40th and La Salle streets.

Gari Popescul, a trailer tour guide, said the trailer displays the history of the Bible and its journey across time. There are hundreds of historical exhibits, educational posters, maps and more.

The goal of the Bible Truck is to impact a nation desperately in need of God’s Word.

“We go through all the translations of the Bible, some persecution,” said Popescul. “We talk about some paintings that depict Jesus’ life and our Christian life and we have a tease at the end and show you how the old Gutenberg press worked.”

The exhibit is open through Sunday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday through Sunday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

According to the trailer owners, the next stop for the exhibit is in Omaha.

Popescul said they plan to eventually ship the trailer off to other countries.
