Portions of several Lincoln streets to close starting Sunday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department on Thursday announced the closure of several Lincoln streets.

On Sunday, eastbound Salt Creek Road between 14th Street and Stadium Drive will close from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. for the Nebraska Football Road Race.

Calvert Street and Pioneers Boulevard between Ninth Street and Nebraska Parkway will close on Monday for railroad track repairs.

This work is expected to be completed by July 25.

Also on Monday, A Street between 40th and 52nd streets will close for a surface maintenance project.

The project is expected to be completed by July 24, and local access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained.
