Part of major road in east Lincoln to close Monday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department on Friday announced a new construction project on a major Lincoln street.

Starting Monday, Holdrege Street between Cedar Cove Road and 98th Street will close for water transmission line installation.

According to LTU, the work is expected to be completed by mid-January 2026.

You will still be able to access to homes and businesses in the area, according to LTU.
