Vehicle crashes into tree in southeast Lincoln neighborhood

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A vehicle crashed into a tree in a southeast Lincoln neighborhood on Monday.

The crash happened around 9:40 a.m. near 47th and La Salle streets.

A user on the NOW Local News App shared a video of a sedan that crashed into a tree in front of a home.

Several Lincoln Fire & Rescue units were at the scene of the crash.  The car had extensive front-end damage.

It’s unknown what led up to the crash.

LPD said there were three teens inside the vehicle, one of whom was taken to a hospital with an injury that was serious but not life-threatening.

An investigation is ongoing, according to LPD.
