Man stabbed during attempted robbery in north Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was stabbed early Saturday morning during an attempted robbery in north Lincoln, police say.

The victim, a 33-year-old Lincoln man, reported to officers that he had parked his vehicle near North 21st and Holdrege streets.

An unknown man approached the victim armed with a knife and demanded money, police said.

The victim didn’t give up any money, so the man stabbed him in the left shoulder and ran away, according to LPD.

Police said the victim drove himself to the hospital.
