Nebraska volleyball reveals 2025 captains

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska volleyball announced its three captains for the 2025 season Wednesday.

The three upperclassmen leading the team this year are senior Rebekah Allick and juniors Andi Jackson and Bergen Reilly.

Allick is a two-time All-Big Ten selection for Nebraska. Last season, she led the team in blocks, with 156.

Allick is a leader on and off the floor, being a present voice for the Husker team.

Reilly was NU’s single captain during the spring season.

She is one of the most prolific setters in the Big Ten, having won back-to-back Big Ten Setter of the Year awards. Reilly is the only player in Big Ten history to win the award in both her freshman and sophomore seasons, and she’s the first Husker to win multiple Big Ten Setter of the Year honors.

Jackson is one of the most fun, electric players to watch in volleyball. She dominates the court on offense and defense.

Last season, she was second on the team in blocks, with 134, while also landing third on the team in kills, with 299.

Jackson had a team-best attack percentage with .439%. That mark ranked her sixth in the country in 2024.

Jackson and Reilly were both named to the AVCA watch list ahead of the 2025 season.

The Huskers start their season Friday at 6 p.m. versus Pittsburgh in the AVCA First Serve Showcase at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
