Safety Marques Buford Jr., quarterback Dylan Raiola, offensive lineman Henry Lutovsky, safety Deshaun Singleton, corner back Ceyair Wright and wide receiver Dane Key will lead the squad this season.
According to head coach Matt Rhule, the team voted on who they wanted as captains, with several players receiving votes.
This is the first time a Nebraska team under Rhule has had set captains throughout the entirety of a season.
In Rhule’s first two seasons at Nebraska, new captains were selected before every game.

Kick off is scheduled for 8 p.m. on ESPN.
