A rainy and cool next few days
A medium EXCESSIVE RAINFALL outlook is in place for eastern Nebraska Saturday. Afternoon rain totals could exceed 2″+ in areas. Much needed rainfall for most of the state these next few days. Great weekend for some college football! Turn around and don’t drown if you see ponding on the roadways.
A FLOOD WATCH is in effect through Sunday morning for parts of SE Nebraska. Several inches of rainfall is expected, leading to flooding in low lying areas.
Rain totals through Sunday night will range from 1.50″- 3.50″+. Flash flooding could occur in low lying areas through Monday morning.
Storm cast shows rain starting Saturday afternoon and continuing to be on and off through Monday evening.
Tonight, temperatures dipping into the lower 60s for most of us. Rain showers will persist through the night.
Sunday, temperatures feeling very nice in the upper 60s with rain off and on throughout the afternoon.
A rainy next few days! Temperatures will stay below average all through next week in the 70s. We are tracking a front moving in bringing cooler air Tuesday-Wednesday. Overnight lows getting close to the upper 30s up north! First home game for the Huskers looks to be quite nice for now.
