Behind the Lens: Meet Nebraska’s creative mastermind, Raffi Viton
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Creativity. Where does it come from?
Is it something in the brain, the heart, the soul? Maybe a combination of all three?
Or perhaps it’s something else entirely. Wherever it’s found, one thing is for certain.
When you see a piece of art that’s done well, that moves you, it makes you stop and appreciate all the hard work spent to put together a creative piece.
Meet Raffi Viton.
Viton is one of Nebraska’s most creative minds, putting together countless works of art that capture the attention of an entire fan base.
“Well, my dad used to make hype videos for me and my sisters elementary league sports and I always though that was really cool,” Viton said. “I like watching him do his own thing around our sports teams and kind of see the process come about and at the end of the season see his awesome video of all of us.”
And from that a star was born.

His work always exceeds expectations from Husker fans and the players, who are a big reason Viton continues to produce new products.
“Seeing the appreciation from the athletes made me want to create memories for people in a way where they can remember it,” Viton said. “In a cool, cinematic professional fashion.”
And while the process of putting together his videos are extensive, the focus going into his shoots are key.
“You want to capture the whole moment,” he said. “But you want to be able to focus on one moment at a time. Finding where that one moment is that you can focus on rather than trying to focus on everything at once.”
The junior at Nebraska has big goals in his future, with the ultimate goal of working on movie sets.
For anyone trying to get into creative media, Viton says to “Just do it.”
From behind the lens, to the final product and everything in between, Viton continues to be a trailblazer of creativity and an inspiration to the people around him.
