Vehicle crashes into auto detail shop in south Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A vehicle crashed into a south Lincoln auto detail shop on Thursday.

The crash happened at Nebraska Auto Detail near Eighth Street and Pioneers Boulevard around 12:30 p.m.

A Channel 8 reporter sent in a video on the NOW Local News App of a sedan that had crashed into the side of the building, causing extensive damage.

It’s unknown what led up to the crash.  One person inside the vehicle was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, according to police.

Several Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews responded to the scene.  A building inspector is also going to be checking out the structure’s damage.
