Nebraska letting fans bring bottled water to Memorial Stadium amid high temps

Memorial Stadium

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska athletic department is helping fans beat the heat during Saturday’s football game against Houston Christian.

In anticipation of higher temperatures, the athletic department said fans will be allowed to bring one sealed bottle of water into Memorial Stadium.

As always, Memorial Stadium policy allows personal empty water bottles inside the stadium for fans to refill at the water fountains inside.

With the availability of alcohol, fans are encouraged to drink responsibly and have a plan in place to stay hydrated.

If you become overwhelmed by heat, the athletic department asks you to reach out to the nearest stadium official or event staff member for assistance.
