UNLPD investigating sexual assault at East Campus dorm

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s East Campus.

The assault was reported Friday to the UNL Police Department, according to a message sent to students, faculty and staff.

UNLPD said the assault happened between 6 and 9 p.m. Saturday at the Massengale Residential Center.

The victim was familiar with the perpetrator, police said.

He is thought to be a 21-year-old white man with brown hair and brown eyes.
