Hail up to ping pong balls will be possible with the strongest storms Sunday evening. Surrounding areas could see hail up to half dollar size.
There is a 2% tornado potential stretching from Grand Island north and south. Due to the front and change in wind direction, a few brief rotations will be possible as the line of storms progresses.
Winds up to 60-70 mph will be possible, especially as the line of storms organizes Sunday evening.
Isolated to scattered storms will develop near 1-3pm, with the strong storms beginning near 4pm around Kearney. By the early evening hours, multiple strong to severe storms will begin to develop along the Missouri river and out west near Kearney, Grand Island and Hastings. These storms will begin to have large hail, damaging winds and a few brief rotations as they move east. By 8-9pm storms will still have gusty 50-60 mph winds going through Aroura. Storms will look to die down by 11pm as they enter Lincoln.
