Still hot, but closer to normal for highs this week
The extreme heat and humidity will back off a little for the rest of the week with a few rain chances on and off.
The Extreme Heat Warning and Heat Advisory is in place through 10pm Monday night. We’re almost done with the extreme heat!
Scattered showers and storms (above) are possible tonight and into Tuesday.
We’ll start the day in the 60s and 70s Tuesday. A warm start, but fairly typical for late July.
Back to normal for highs on Tuesday. A cool-down, so to speak, especially after all the recent heat.
The heat index will be a little high on Tuesday, but MUCH better vs what we have been seeing.
Wednesday will be another normal but warm day with highs near 90.
The heat index will be a little high, as well.
