It was a slow first quarter with both teams being held from the end zone.
The second quarter was more of the same until Lincoln Southwest’s Thatcher Shelton was picked off by Lincoln East’s Landen Lingenfelter.
Lingenfelter took it all the way for a pick six, giving the Spartans a 7-0 lead.
Lincoln East would go on to score another 13 points in the second half.
The Spartans have now won three-straight after their week-one loss.
Lincoln Southwest remains winless at 0-4.
